The accounting department will be involved in the realignment of community and the new process to a more cost efficient manner. They will need to develop a strategy that allows the new stream lined system to produce the most profit in the most efficient manner. Whether this is through a better marketing budget or allowing more computers to do the heavy lifting that humans once did.
The IT department may have one the more intuitive tasks. They will have to access what machines are currently being used, determine what they can keep and utilize and what needs to go. They will then need to purchase new machines to support the new system. The configuration for this could be long range depending of the complexity of the old system. but in the end this outcome should be best for all within the organization.
